Just like all your other data stored locally, your PreVeil data is at risk if another party is able to sign-in to access your phone or computer as yourself.  Encrypted  Encrypted messages and documents have to be decrypted somewhere for the user to see them, and in PreVeil they are decrypted in on the user’s phone or computer.

If someone is able to get past your phone or computer’s sign-in screen and/or biometric authentication, they will be able to get access to your decrypted emails and documentsfiles.  Note Note, however, that they will only be able to get to see the documents that are accessible to you – they will not be able to get access other users’ information.  So make sure that passwords on your devices are enabled, that  We recommend you ensure passwords are enabled on all of your devices, they’re not easily guessable, and you change them periodically.
