Checking to see if the PreVeil Client and PreVeil services are running

Aside from running a diagnostics test via the key menu (Key Menu on Windows), you can also perform the same checks manually to see if the PreVeil Client and PreVeil Windows services are running.

Checking to see if PreVeil Client is running in Windows Task Manager:

1). Click on the Windows Start Menu and type in “task manager“.

2). Click on Task Manager to launch it.

3). Task Manager should open to the Processes tab. If you see this condensed view instead, click on More details:

4). Scroll down to the p section alphabetically in the list and you should see PreVeil_Client.exe running:

Checking to see if the PreVeil services are running:

1). Follow the same steps 1-3 above to open Task Manager.

2). Click on the Services tab in Task Manager and you should see this view:

3). Scroll down alphabetically in the list to the P section and you should see a Running status next to all services with PreVeil in the name as shown below:
