Is there a need to back up user data stored in PreVeil?

PreVeil Drive is a cloud service. When you upload a file to the cloud, it is encrypted and saved on remote computers known as servers in data centers across multiple regions of the US.

For PreVeil subscribers:

PreVeil employs Amazon AWS US GovCloud for FedRAMP High encrypted data storage. PreVeil operates on multiple servers in parallel in US GovCloud East (Ohio) so there will be no disruption for an individual server outage. PreVeil creates full system back-ups every day at 3:00 am ET and replicates this copy to AWS GovCloud West (Oregon). AWS back-ups of PreVeil system data are stored securely off-site and all PreVeil back-ups are always encrypted end-to-end.  PreVeil retains these back-ups for 30 days to ensure that a rollback to any point within a 30-day period is possible. PreVeil data is secure even if an AWS facility is incapacitated.

PreVeil Support can assist subscribers in restoring any lost data in PreVeil’s cloud storage system.
