How to Move Files and Folders within Drive on the PreVeil Application prior to build 5.X
Note: Currently, you can only move files or folders within the same shared folder.
Instructions
When attempting to move files or folders using the Move button in PreVeil, you might notice that the Move button is grayed out and the cursor displays a red "cancel" symbol. (See Image below)
To move a file or folder, please follow the steps below:
Highlight the Item:
First, highlight the folder or file by checking the checkbox to the left of that item, as shown in the image below.
Select the Destination:
Next, select the location where you want to move the file. For example, in the screenshot below, you would select one of the subfolders. This action should make the Move button clickable.
Important: Do not click directly on the folder name, as this will open the folder. Instead, click on the white space either to the left or the right of the folder name. This will select the folder and make the Move button clickable.
Note: Due to the encryption in Drive, you cannot use the Move button to transfer items from one top-level shared folder to another. To move items between top-level folders, follow these methods:
Alternative Methods to Move Files between Top-Level Shared Folders
Using the Local Directory:
Click the Orange "Open in Explorer" button within the PreVeil application to open the local directory.
Alternatively, you can use Windows File Explorer to move the files. (See Images Below)
