Causes

Avast and AVG have flagged C:\PreVeil\filesync\libfips-crypto.dll as a Win64:Evo-gen [Trj]. PreVeil has reported a false positive to Avast.

Solution

Antivirus Quarantine

The C:\PreVeil\filesync\libfips-crypto.dll may be quarantined by antivirus software. Please add to your antivirus exceptions two folders C:\PreVeil and C:\PreVeilData. Next, open the antivirus settings, go to quarantine, and release the DLL file from the quarantine. Lastly, restart PreVeil services.

If the file has not been quarantined, add the exceptions and reinstall the software.

Adding folder exceptions in Avast.

Go to Settings, General, Exceptions and add the program folders.

Go to Protection and click Quarantine.

Locate the libfips-crypto.dll file, click the ellipsis, and click the restore option.
