PreVeil Express users can now change their MFA mode from SMS to TOTP and vice versa. They can also change the SMS phone number.
We understand that the ability to switch between different Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) modes and to change the SMS phone number associated with your account is an important feature for many of you. We appreciate your patience and would like to provide an update on these features.
Current MFA Support
As of now, our system supports MFA delivery via SMS and through our authenticator app. However, once you have chosen a method (either SMS or the authenticator app), the system does not currently allow switching between these two modes. Similarly, the system does not support changing the phone number associated with SMS MFA delivery once it has been set.
Future Updates
We are excited to announce that changes are coming. Our product team is actively working on updates that will allow users to switch between MFA modes and to change the SMS phone number. These updates are part of our commitment to improving user experience and providing flexibility in how you secure your account.
Timeline
We anticipate these updates to be available later in 2024. While we do not have a specific release date at this time, we assure you that our team is working diligently to implement these changes as quickly as possible.
