"This item couldn't be found. If you received this item via a shared link, request a new direct link for access" error on the desktop 5.6.2 build
This issue has been resolved. Upgrade to the latest version for the fix.
The error message is generic and can represent different issues in the Drive. One problem may involve using the Cloud Lock feature while others stem from sync rule migration or syncer operations. PreVeil is actively working on a fix that will be released in an upcoming 5.6.3 build.
The 5.6.3 was released on January 23, 2025 and can be downloaded at preveil.com/download
Troubleshooting
If Cloud Lock is enabled, add the affected user to the Cloud Lock exceptions list
Reboot the computer

Revert to the desktop build 5.2.8
Uninstall PreVeil and retain your private key
Download the 5.2.8 version
Install the 5.2.8 version
Reload Drive: http://127.0.0.1:4003/drive/root
Disable the automatic and Key Menu updaters
