Bug Fixes

  • Mac Installer Fix: Resolved an issue with the Desktop App installer on Macs where PreVeil was not previously installed.

  • Mac Email Sending Fix: Fixed an issue preventing Mac users from sending emails.

  • Tray Notifications Update Error Handling: Improved error handling for Tray Notifications updates when updates are disabled.

  • File Syncing Fixes:

    • Ensured sync updates are processed correctly.

    • Prevented users from being blocked from retrying failed sync jobs.

  • Email Draft Fixes:

    • Ensured email drafts are saved when closing the compose window.

    • Improved reliability of email draft deletion.

  • Approval Groups Admin Screen UI Fix: Corrected a UI issue on the Approval Groups admin screen to properly display long lists of approval groups.

  • Drive Share Acceptance Fix: Fixed an issue with accepting Drive shares.

  • Desktop App Access Fix (Multi-User Machines): Addressed an issue that caused users on multi-user machines to lose access to the Desktop App in certain cases.

Improvements

  • Admin Screen Style Updates: Updated styles on admin screens (no functional changes).

  • Drive Search Improvements:

    • Enhanced Drive search to better match partial names.

    • Scoped search to the current folder.

    • Increased the number of items searched per attempt.

  • Internal Security Enhancements: Addressed security requirements in internal components (no functional changes).

  • File Syncing Performance Improvements: Improved the performance of the file syncing mechanism for faster sync completion.

  • Drive Connection Reliability: Improved the reliability of Drive connections to ensure they are reconnected after unexpected disconnections, making the app more responsive, especially for Drive operations and workflows that depend on Drive data fetching (e.g., Shared Folder Notifications).

  • Data Export Screen Improvements: Improved the Data Export screen to provide a more user-friendly experience for selecting criteria.
