Enabling Key Menu and run.vbs in Windows Startup Apps
There are two components of PreVeil that are automatically configured to run upon startup of Windows: key menu and a VBS script called run.vbs. However, Windows sometimes will disable the automatic startup of these components, and if that happens it has the potential to affect access to your PreVeil application whenever your computer is rebooted: your Drive functionality may not work correctly, and the PreVeil key menu icon may not be present in your Windows System Tray.
If Windows turns these items off in the Startup Apps, here’s how you can turn them back on:
Go to the Windows search bar and type in Startup Apps. Select the Startup Apps option that comes up in the search results list.
Scroll down the list of programs and find KeyMenu. If the toggle is turned off, turn it back on.
Scroll down to the very bottom of the list and find the option for run.vbs. If the toggle is turned off, turn it back on.
Reboot your computer, and see if that resolves the issues you were having.
