Desktop PreVeil Version 5.8.5
Overview
Version 5.8.5 of the PreVeil Desktop App introduces the ability to save email attachments to any folder in Drive and delivers critical fixes for shared folder handling, attachment badge visibility, activity logs, and Recovery Group UI behavior. The update also resolves issues affecting large folder sharing reliability and improves the consistency of web-based email experiences. Enhancements to the Admin Console focus on style and UI refinement without altering functionality.

New Features
Save Email Attachments to any Drive folder - Now it's possible to select any folder in Drive where to save email attachments.
Bug fixes
Collection Rename fix - Fix to handle share folder renames from the filesystem (e.g., via Finder/File Explorer) properly.
Delete shared folders from filesystem fix - Drive fix to ensure that when a shared folder (collection) is deleted from the filesystem (e.g., via Finder/File Explorer) it is actually hidden from Drive in the Desktop App UI in the web browser and made available in the Shared tab to unhide it as needed.
Drive fix for large folder sharing - Multiple Drive fixes to prevent shares being stuck at 0% and other issues when sharing a large folder or sharing a subfolder inside a shared folder.
Activity Logs fix - Fix to display the activity logs of a user that uses Web PreVeil regardless of their email having upper or lower case characters.
Mail attachment badge fix - Prevent having the attachment badge in message in an email thread disappearing when reloading the web browser.
Recovery Group UI fix - Make sure the Save button is enabled when the number of approvals required is changed (for non-org users). Also, a warning icon is now displayed in the Recovery Group Settings menu option when a recovery group is not set.
Improvements
Admin console - Admin Settings and Email Group pages incorporate new styles plus UI improvements. No functional changes.
