Overview
This release introduces username tracking in Version History, allowing users to identify who modified a file—enhancing transparency for collaboration. It also improves system reliability through key bug fixes (e.g., admin user promotion, auth flow, Recovery Group UI), boosts compliance with second-level timestamp precision in Activity Logs, and delivers performance enhancements for large-scale folder sharing and Drive file previews. These updates reinforce PreVeil’s commitment to security, clarity, and smoother user experiences.

New Features
Username in Version History - It is now possible to see what user added a new file version after editing a file under Version History in the Details pane of a file in Drive.
Note: This is only applicable to file versions created with this version of the PreVeil desktop app.
Bug fixes
Fix to promote an admin user - Fix to address an issue where an admin user that had been previously deleted and then recreated couldn't be promoted to admin.
Fix auth app issue - Properly initialize the app auth to avoid sending users to the Get Started screen in certain cases such as after getting a recovery group change approved.
UI fix on Recovery Group page - Prevent approvers list from being cleared when refreshing the page for non-org users.
MacOS uninstaller fix - Ensure PreVeil keys are removed properly when selecting the option to remove keys while uninstalling the MacOS PreVeil desktop app.
Org device list export fix - Only include devices of active org user accounts in the export file of org devices.
Improvements
Activity Logs timestamp change - The Activity Log entries now include seconds in their timestamp for compliance purposes.
Performance improvement sharing a folder - The process is completed in a shorter amount of time when sharing with a large number of users at once.
Drive viewer - Display message to the user when a video file is not supported due to its size or video type.
