Does PreVeil Support Single Sign-On (SSO)?

Applies to full (desktop) PreVeil

🔐 Overview

PreVeil does not require integration with Single Sign-On (SSO) because it uses a cryptographic key-based authentication model. This model ensures that only authorized users and devices—those provisioned with PreVeil’s application and enterprise-linked cryptographic keys—can access PreVeil services.

✅ Compatibility with SSO

While PreVeil operates independently of SSO, it is fully compatible with SSO environments. Once a user completes the SSO process and gains access to their device’s operating system, PreVeil becomes available to that authenticated user—assuming the device is authorized and properly provisioned.

This compatibility allows PreVeil to coexist seamlessly within enterprise environments that rely on SSO for broader access control, without compromising its own security architecture.

📱 Device Authorization

PreVeil only runs on devices that:

  • Have the PreVeil application installed

  • Possess both user-level and device-level cryptographic keys

  • Are associated with the enterprise account

This ensures that even in SSO-enabled environments, PreVeil access remains tightly bound to cryptographic identity and device trust.

🛠️ Future Integration Plans

As of now, PreVeil does not include traditional login/logout functionality. However, this feature is planned for release in 2026. Once implemented, deeper integration with SSO systems is expected and is part of the product roadmap.
