PreVeil Express Upload and Download Limits for Files in Drive and Attachments in Mail
Product: PreVeil Express
Mail Users can reliably send and receive email attachments up to 50MB. Attachments larger than 50MB may fail to send or receive. For files larger than 50MB, use Drive instead of email attachments. Please note that if there are multiple attachments on an email, only one can be downloaded at a time.
Drive
Uploads: Users can reliably upload files up to 750MB to Drive. Files between 750MB and 5GB can be uploaded but will take significantly longer and may be less reliable. The maximum file size limit is 5GB.
Downloads: Users can reliably download files up to 750MB from Drive. Files between 750MB and 1GB may download successfully but are limited by browser memory constraints and may fail on systems with insufficient RAM. Drive does allow for selecting and downloading multiple attachments at once.
Performance considerations: All upload and download operations depend on network speed and system resources (RAM, CPU). Larger files require more memory, and files approaching browser memory limits may cause performance issues or browser crashes if your system cannot handle the processing requirements.
A PreVeil Express account can be upgraded to a full PreVeil account to expand your upload and download limits for files in Drive and attachments in Mail. You can find instructions for upgrading from PreVeil Express to full PreVeil here.
