Backing Up Your TOTP Authenticator App Data

In this article, we are providing links to the instructions for backing up data for different TOTP authenticator apps. If you’re using an authenticator app for access to your PreVeil Express account, we recommend backing up your app data in case you lose access to the app on your device and need to reinstall it, or if you need to move that data over to a new device. Please note that PreVeil cannot recover your app data for you if it is lost.

Note: Apple does not have a stand alone authenticator application, but its built-in iCloud Keychain has TOTP (time-based one-time password) capabilities for 2FA.
