Will junk mail or spam ever come into my PreVeil mail account?
Junk mail and spam occur in regular email accounts because any email address can send to any other email address. With PreVeil, only PreVeil accounts can securely message each other, so external parties cannot send you spam or junk mail with signing up for their own PreVeil account and installing the software on at least one supported device. This small amount of friction significantly minimizes the opportunity for spammers to send mass emails.
To date, we have not yet encountered any spam or junk mail sent within PreVeil; if you receive any such messages in your PreVeil account, please contact us at support@preveil.com.
