Summary

PreVeil Desktop App 5.9.4 for macOS introduces new productivity and administrative features, along with a series of improvements to the Admin Console’s Usage Report and multiple stability fixes. What’s New

New Usage Report Dashboard (Admin Console)

This release adds a redesigned Usage Report dashboard for administrators. The new dashboard provides clearer insight into organizational usage and security posture, including:

  • Number of licenses occupied

  • Total storage used and total storage available

  • Security settings status

  • Per‑user storage details

  • Ability to print the full report

These improvements give admins a more complete and actionable view of their environment.

Save All Email Attachments (One Click)

Users can now save all attachments from an email at once, simplifying workflows that involve multiple files. This feature is available directly from the email body and reduces repetitive manual downloads.


Improvements & Fixes

This release includes a number of refinements to the Admin Console, email attachment handling, and general app stability. Highlights include:

Email & Attachment Handling

  • Improved validation when uploading attachments

  • Fixed an issue where attaching an empty file produced an error

  • Resolved a progress tray label that incorrectly displayed “Upload” instead of “Download”

General Fixes

  • Resolved a rare error message that appeared when navigating in and out of MyPreVeil Drive

  • Removed an unwanted PDF component that appeared when downloading recovery files

  • Addressed conflict folder behavior reported in earlier versions

These fixes collectively improve reliability and reduce friction for both end users and administrators.
