How to resolve the Outlook Password Prompt Caused by the PreVeil Outlook Plugin
While the full desktop version of PreVeil does not use passwords for account access, a password value is still assigned specifically for Outlook integration purposes.
Note: Restarting the Key Menu services (see documentation Key Menu on Windows ) may resolve the issue.
Additionally, removing the PreVeil account from Outlook and re-adding it often resolves the issue.
Resolution steps
Follow these steps in order:
In the PreVeil browser app, mouse over Settings, and select Add to Mail Client.
Click on the link at the bottom of the page to manually add Preveil to other email programs.
There you’ll find the password value that Outlook is looking for:
Enter the password in the Outlook pop-up window and select OK. This should resolve the issue.
