PreVeil Desktop 6.0.4 for Windows is a stability release that resolves several issues reported by customers following the 6.0.0 general availability launch.

Bug fixes

File Explorer directories missing after launch

Fixed an issue where Cloud Drive folders and files would periodically disappear from Windows File Explorer after launching the PreVeil app. Affected users had to stop and restart PreVeil services via the key menu to restore visibility. This issue has been resolved and folders should appear consistently on launch.

Collection rename reliability improvements

Resolved an issue that could cause instability when renaming shared folders (collections). Shared folder renames now propagate correctly without unexpected behavior.

System freeze on wake prevention

Addressed a condition where the PreVeil client could become unresponsive after a Windows system resumed from sleep or hibernate. The application now recovers cleanly from system wake events.
