PreVeil Desktop 6.2.2 for Windows resolves an issue affecting some installations of 6.2.1.

Bug fixes

Cloud Drive installation and startup issues

Resolved three related issues that could prevent Cloud Drive from installing or functioning correctly after upgrading to 6.2.1:

  • On some machines, particularly those with files remaining from a prior installation attempt, the installer could fail partway through and roll back.

  • On machines where installation completed successfully, Cloud Drive could still fail to start due to an internal component conflict, leaving Drive folders unavailable in File Explorer.

  • On shared or multi-user machines where PreVeil had previously been installed under a different Windows user account, Cloud Drive could remain unregistered for the current user even after a successful install.

Updating to 6.2.2 resolves all three issues.
