Sync Rules Disabled: The sync rules for all folders across all organization members are set to "off" mode, preventing users from enabling sync on their folders.
Local Storage Impact: Folders with sync disabled are removed from the local computer’s storage system and will not be found in the mapped folder.
Notification: Organization members receive an email notification when the Cloud Lock setting is enabled.
Exceptions: Individual organization members can be excluded from the setting.

Notes
When Cloud Lock is enabled the PreVeil-<email address> folder is not removed but all of its content. Items added to the folder are not synced.
We advise administrators to enable or disable in off-production hours to avoid issues with interrupting work. If a file is open while Cloud Lock is in the course of being enabled it will not save to the cloud.
Cloud Lock does not completely stop user access to files locally. Users retain the ability to cloud-edit files.
Known issues queued for resolution
Users can download files on the browser application. Downloaded files go to the PreVeil Downloads folder which does not synchronize. The ability will be removed.
If users have files in the root location of Drive and Cloud Lock is disabled the files will not synchronize. The workaround is to move files to a sync-enabled folder.
