When Cloud Lock is enabled the PreVeil-<email address> folder is not removed but all of its content. Items added to the folder are not synced.

We advise administrators to enable or disable in off-production hours to avoid issues with interrupting work. If a file is open while Cloud Lock is in the course of being enabled it will not save to the cloud.

Cloud Lock does not completely stop user access to files locally. Users retain the ability to cloud-edit files.

Known issues queued for resolution

Users can download files in on the browser application. Downloaded files go to the PreVeil Downloads folder which does not synchronize. The ability will be removed.

If users have files in the root location of Drive and Cloud Lock is disabled the files will not synchronize. The files would need to be moved workaround is to move files to a sync-enabled folder.
