Why consider Email Gateway
...
?
PreVeil operates on a closed network, meaning that with your PreVeil account you are communicating only with other PreVeil users.
You If you try to communicate with a non-PreVeil user via your PreVeil account, they will be prompted to create a free PreVeil Express account.
However, you may need to communicate with external parties that are prevented from creating a PreVeil account.
The Email Gateway will allow you to use your PreVeil Mail to communicate with these external parties.
...
A user will send an email from the PreVeil account, that email will be encrypted by PreVeil until it arrives at the Email Gateway server.
At the Email Gateway server, the PreVeil encryption will be removed recoded to SMTP by way of a Mail Transfer Agent (MTA), and will be replaced with an ECA certificate based TLS encryption. The Email Gateway supports communication via TLS 1.2.
That email will then make it’s way to the external party’s mail servers, and then on to the inbox of their email client.
