New Feature: Device Wipe
Overview: Admins now have the ability to delete user devices, ensuring complete removal of PreVeil data including Drive files, emails, logs, cache, and user keys. When a device is locked, all data except the user key is deleted. End users also have the Device Wipe feature when deleting their own devices.

Instructions:
For Administrators:
Locking or Deleting a Device:
Go to the Admin Console users directory at
127.0.0.1:4003/admin/users
.Open the user's profile.
Click the Devices tab.
Click the ellipsis next to the device.
Select Lock or Delete.
The device wipe feature activates.
For Users:
Deleting Their Device:
Go to the PreVeil browser app at
127.0.0.1:4003
.Navigate to Settings > Device Management.
Click the ellipsis next to the device.
Select Lock or Delete.
The device wipe feature activates.
FAQs:
What happens if the device is offline when a lock or delete action is initiated?
The data will be kept, and the process will be queued for the device’s return.
Is third-party mail client data deleted?
No, data in third-party mail clients like Outlook is not affected by the device wipe. Users are responsible for removing the external data.
