PreVeil will never be able to see the contents of your communications. PreVeil does not even have access to the titles of documents, files, or emails.
However, in order to understand at a granular level how the PreVeil platform is used and to provide better service experience, PreVeil aggregates information pertaining to system use. Examples of this include the number of emails sent per day, the amount of storage used per individual, and the number of devices used per user.
The PreVeil system automatically uses this metadata to notify users if they exceed their storage limits or other thresholds based on their plan. This metadata will be used strictly to improve the system performance and will never be visible or shared with individual, partner, or organization outside of PreVeil. In no way does this metadata allow PreVeil to read the title or contents of the underlying data.
