For accounts that are part of a PreVeil organization

If you are a member of an organization then an organization administrator has sole power to delete your account. Please contact your organization administrator.

For a free full PreVeil account

Please know that all data linked to the account would be permanently deleted and irrecoverable.

To request an account deletion, enter a technical support ticket with your PreVeil ID and date of account creation. A member of the support team will ask for confirmation before processing the request.

For a free PreVeil Express account

Please know that all data linked to the account would be permanently deleted and irrecoverable.

To delete your PreVeil Express account:

  • Go to web.preveil.com and login to your account.

  • Mouse over the Settings icon and select Profile.

  • Click on the Delete this Account button.

  • Click Yes to confirm the deletion.

Please note that if the Express user is an org member it will prompt them to contact the admin instead of showing a delete button.

FAQ

If I created folders and shared them with others, are those folders removed?

No, shared folders will persist after account deletion. To remove shared folders, unshare the folder completely before self-deletion.

Can I use the same email address to create a new account?

Yes.

How long should I wait before creating a new account?

At least one minute.
