The "PreVeil Downloads" Folder

Functionality
The new download functionality directs any file that you download from PreVeil into a “PreVeil Downloads” folder directly in your PreVeil Drive. This functionality applies in both Mail and Drive.
If you receive an email in your PreVeil Mail inbox that has an attachment, when you click on the attachment, it will download directly into your Drive.
Click on the attachment to initiate the download.
When the download completes you will receive this notification.
Now if you go to the My PreVeil section of your Drive, you’ll see a folder there called “PreVeil Downloads”
Inside that folder you will see the attachment from the email.
Drive
The same download functionality is available in Drive.
Click the checkbox next to a file in your Drive to bring up a details pane.
In the details pane, click on the Download button.
When the download completes you will receive this notification.
Go into the “PreVeil Downloads” folder and the file will be found there.
Accessing the PreVeil Downloads Folder Locally
When in the PreVeil Downloads folder in the browser app, you can also access the data in this folder locally in File Explorer (on Windows) or Finder (on Mac).
On Windows
While in the folder, click on the Open in Explorer button.
This will bring you into the local directory folder in File Explorer where you can access a local copy of the data in this folder.
On Mac
While in the folder, click on the Open in Finder button.
This will bring you into the local directory folder in Finder where you can access a local copy of the data in this folder.
Removing the PreVeil Downloads Folder from the Local Directory
If you don’t want to have a copy of the PreVeil Downloads folder in the local directory, you can remove it by clicking on the checkbox next to the folder in the browser application, and turning off the Sync to this device toggle. This will remove the local copy of that folder so that you’re only access it in the browser application.
Additional Notes
The “PreVeil Downloads” folder will be created automatically the first time you use this functionality. You do not need to create it manually.
Downloads of email attachments that are 500 MB and larger is not supported by this functionality.
You must keep the PreVeil desktop app’s browser session open to ensure the download completes.
Once a download has started, it’s not possible to cancel it.
Only one download can be done at a time.
There’s no progress indicator.
