Add and use PreVeil in Outlook on Windows

PreVeil Mail can be integrated with your Outlook client, which would then allow you to read, send, and receive PreVeil email from within Outlook.

Note: Outlook on Windows is now offering the option to try their new interface. You may see this toggle in the upper right hand corner of the Outlook window:

The PreVeil integration currently does not work in the new Outlook interface, so we recommend that you remain on the current version of Outlook if you wish to integrate PreVeil with your Outlook client.

Add PreVeil to Outlook on Windows

Please close Outlook before performing the following steps.

To add PreVeil Mail to Outlook:

In the PreVeil browser app, mouse over Settings, and then select Add to Mail Client.

Click on the Add PreVeil to Outlook button.

You’ll see the following message while the operation is in process. It should take between 10 - 20 seconds to complete.

When completed, you’ll receive this notification that the profile has been successfully added to Outlook.

Once the integration has completed, re-open Outlook and you will see the new PreVeil mailbox there.

The PreVeil Mail integration creates a new mailbox for your PreVeil account in Outlook. It is not integrating PreVeil Mail with any existing mailboxes already in Outlook.

Use PreVeil on Windows Outlook

You can use your new PreVeil email account in Outlook the same way you would use your regular Outlook email account.
If you have more than one email account in Outlook and you want to send email from your PreVeil account, you can either:
- Select the PreVeil mailbox, and then click on the New Email button.
- Within an individual email, use the From field to select the PreVeil account.
