Restarting PreVeil Services via the Key Menu on Windows

It may sometimes be necessary to restart the PreVeil Windows services if one or more of them have stopped running for some reason. This article shows to do so using the PreVeil Key Menu in the Windows taskbar.

 Instructions

  1. Right-click on the PreVeil Key Menu icon in the Windows taskbar (the white outline of a key). You should see this menu upon doing so:

  2. Hover the mouse cursor over Power Options in this menu:

  3. Click on Restart PreVeil Services under Power Options:

  4. If you’re prompted to allow Windows PowerShell to make changes to your device, click Yes

The PreVeil services will restart. Please allow 30 seconds for them to fully start again.

If the PreVeil key menu isn’t visible in the Windows task bar, it may be in the hidden icon view. Click on the ^ icon to show hidden icons and you should see the Key Menu icon there:
