Open the PreVeil application, click on the human silhouette icon, and find the final item in the drop-down menu. The version is a three part number separated by dots such as 5.5.0
In the Windows operating systems the version can be checked in Programs and Features
Open the run dialogue window (Windows key + R)
Input appwiz.cpl and click OK
Locate PreVeil and find the version number
