PreVeil Express Password Reset

Starting on June 26, 2024, PreVeil Express users may reset their password.

Log in to your account at web.preveil.com, go to Settings, and click Change Password. Alternatively, go to https://web.preveil.com/settings/change-password.

Enter a new password. The requirements are a minimum of 10 characters, one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, a number, and a non-alphanumeric character. The new password cannot match the last used password.

Open

Once done, your password is saved and effective from now on.

1. Is there a limit to how often a user can reset their password?
   
   Currently, there is no limit to how often a user can change his password.
   
   

2. Is there a maximum character length on the password?
   
   The maximum character length is 255 characters.
   
   

3. Are there any controls for administrators on org Express users?
   
   There are no controls for administrators to this feature.
   
   

4. Are users allowed to reset their password on any device that can access PreVeil
   
   Yes, any device that can access the web.preveil.com may be used to reset the password.
   
   

5. Will the passwords expire? Are there plans to make it expire?
   
   Password expiration is not currently a feature but that may change in the future.
   
   

6. Will users receive an email when their password is changed?
   
   Currently, there is no email notification when the password is changed.
