Optional Organization Security Settings

Update: the settings are enabled by default for all organizations as of early 2025

PreVeil organizations may have the following settings enabled by request of PreVeil Support.

  1. Present CUI notice

  2. Disable file export

  3. Require biometrics

Present CUI notice

When enabled, all members of the organization will be presented with a CUI notice on their desktop computers. The notice is presented at startup and remains in place until the user closes the window.

Disable file export

When enabled, users on iOS and Android devices are blocked from downloading files from the app to the local file system.

Require biometrics

When enabled, users on the iOS and Android app are required to authenticate with a system set biometric, such as a thumbprint, to enter their account.
